I have a confession. Ask me what my favorite time of year for wedding flowers, and I will tell you it's whatever the current season is. And I mean it. Ask me in December, I will wax poetic about the beauty of pine in centerpieces. Talk to me in October and I'll go on and on about burnt orange shades of dahlias. But for this post it's definitely spring, because the month of May REALLY shows up.
We loved adding the floral to this custom built mandap. Lush greenery covered with roses, peonies, spray roses and more. The centerpieces were filled with dream pastel blooms, and please take note of the beautiful ombre gowns the wedding party is wearing!
I'm so happy to share these stunning photos with you from Nicole Clarey Photography. She perfectly captured the beauty of this Indian wedding held at the Chicago History Museum. Peonies, ranunculus, anemones - they were all the stars of the floral show, showcasing some of Spring's best floral bounty.
Kirsty from Lola Productions was there keeping all the traditions and delightful details absolutely perfect. This is one of those weddings I want to go back to again and again. I hope you enjoy!
