We've pretty much always held true to the fact that ceremonies are our favorite part of the wedding celebration. Choosing a wedding ceremony location is truly what defines the mood and decor of your day! There are many things to consider such as, do you want the ceremony and reception in the same location? If you're thinking about a romantic and glowing ceremony you may want to consider a winter or spring wedding when the sun sets earlier. Are you willing to brave the elements and opt for a chance to say "I do!" outside? The great news is that there is no right or wrong answer to these thoughts, it's only a matter of what speaks to you!
Here are a few images from some of our favorite wedding set ups where our couples have said, "I do!"
We created a gorgeous garden at the Bridgeport Art Center Skyline Loft. This beautiful location offers an incredible view of Chicago. It's a great space to have your ceremony and reception, because there is a large space for cocktails, while your catering and floral teams flip from ceremony to reception. Photo by T & S Hughes Photo
Loving on this sleek and fresh fabric backdrop and eucalyptus foliage at Chez Event Space. Located in downtown Chicago, this venue is the perfect blank canvas to make it into whatever you can imagine! Decor options are endless, but don't feel overwhelmed, we can help bring all your ideas into a cohesive and thoughtful experience! Photo by Alexis June Photography,
One of our favorite floating chuppahs ever! Following the ceremony the head table was placed directly under this beautiful piece. Photo by Becca Heuer Photography
Here is our custom, 12' tall boxwood chuppah at the Chicago Cultural Center. It can also be crated just 8' tall, if your ceilings are lower. This gorgeous thing simply speaks for itself. Photo by Jill Tiongco Photography
A sweet garden chuppah at the Chicago History Museum. Asymmetrical foliage and roses? Yes, please! Ethereal and dreamy, this aisle was adorned with garland swags and lanterns. Photo by Chad Husar Photo.
Such a lovely floral arch at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum! Cheerful and bright, and a gorgeous Chicago backdrop!
Floral arch at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. Backstory here - during this September wedding it was in the upper 90's! Talk about a heat wave!
