"I will feel a glow just thinking about you, & the way you look tonight."
This past September we had celebrated a beautiful wedding at Room 1520 with Urban Allure Events. The mother of the bride had impeccable taste, curating candles and garlands across the ceremony and reception. Soft blush, champagne, ivory and sage accented the glow and heavy foliage & Todd James Photography captured everything as if you were inside a dream. Also, the greenery backdrop and draping from Art of Imagination could not have been more perfect! Such a beautiful wedding that we adore!
This wedding. I just can't even. It's classy and beautiful, not unlike this gorgeous couple (Seriously, Lindsay & Filipe, you two are models!). This could not have been the more perfect wedding for the snowy winter we received this year. Congratulations you two!!! And for our readers, please enjoy these simply perfect photos from Katie Kett Photography of this wedding at Room 1520!!
Anthony surprised Kellie on a weekend trip to Paris (!!!) with the engagement. That was enough for us, we were in love with these two!
So lovely!!! Congratulations to two of the sweetest people out there, Kellie & Anthony!!!
We recently received some wonderfully romantic photos from I Luv Photo that I've been excited to share with you! There are so many sweet images, it was hard to choose which to display!! Here are a few of our favorites!
Our incredibly talented and super stylish friend, Hilary of Estera Events brought this fun couple our way, and were were tickled pink with their vision!
Amy (aka, Virginia!) ;) is full of so much pep & positive energy, it was hard not to love her before we even met! She lives in Virginia (hence the nickname) and we styled the wedding via phone calls & emails. She's a foodie, she likes to laugh, she loves milk & mercury glass, it was perfect!
Working with a dream team, this wedding was so beautiful! The ladies of Estera Events coordinated a fabulous group of vendors. Room 1520, Boutique Bites, Private Label Linens, Plate, I Luv Photo...sigh. So good.
And to top it off, some of our favorite flowers.
Thank you so much to such an outstanding couple, Amy & Steve! Congratulations on your wedding! And thank you also to all the wonderful vendors involved for making this wedding come together so perfectly!!!
Indie Wed. This is the IT of the wedding shows. We haven't fully participated in an Indie Wed showcase (we definitely plan on applying for this coming January), but Joan of Five Grain Events asked if we would create a floral piece for her table. Her inspiration? The 1950's. But her table was no ordinary sock hop. It was glamourous. It was sweet. It was pink and pretty. We chose a crystal cut vase from our vintage collection (You've been seeing a trend here lately, haven't you?) and designed a soft and romantic arrangement with a little bit of whimsy. The setting was complete with incredible paper items from Suzy at Lily Red Studio (she amazes me every time!). Also, aside from being an incredible designer, she is a photographer and is the face behind these wonderful photos! Thank you so much, Suzy!!
I love the blush pink with the silver/grey of the dusty miller. The sumac & scabiosa are also such great textural additions. The snapdragons are really just plain sweet! Side note: I think I've told you my story about digging up all the snaps in my mother's garden when I was little. I was so excited to show them to her, not realizing she had planted them that morning. Snaps always make me think of that.
A special thanks to Five Grain Events for inviting me to be part of their incredible booth! Also to Lily Red Studios for capturing such wonderful images of the blooms! Also to Room 1520 for hosting Indie Wed! Looking forward to seeing all the fabulous vendors in January!
