Some time back we worked created a centerpiece for our dear friend Clary Pfeiffer. Inspired by blueberries, she took these beautiful images of dying paper and making blueberry frosting. Paired with gorgeous calligraphy from our friend Layers of Loveliness, this shoot is pretty much perfect. Enjoy these few images, but check out the full post on Magnolia Rouge!
We’re thrilled to share this wedding with you from just this past season. Ceremony and Reception both took place at the University Club of Chicago. Photos taken by Dory Tuohey, and planning by Tracy Events. We love the rich colors and all the tall magnolia centerpieces. And there is such a beautiful glow cast everywhere (Check out the head table!). Enjoy!
Autumn weddings are so lovely and perfect. The color palette can run from vibrant and bold, mix in with rich rusts and rose gold, or bring in a little classic white and green with soft seasonal hues. That’s what you’ll see in this beautiful wedding at the Saddle & Cycle Club. The images from one of our favorites, Natalie Probst Photography are truly beautiful!
We love weddings that are Logan Square based, and it was such a joy working at The Joinery this past April with Estera Events, Lula Cafe Catering & Nicodem Creative! We really wish we could do this every weekend!
The bride's bouquet had just enough of an organic feel with trailing foliage, yet balanced with plush focal blooms. Peonies popped back into season just in time for this wedding!
We absolutely loved installing this hanging floral backdrop with over 250 stems of foliage & blooms!
We are totally in love with their choice of black matte dinner plates!
And of course, always love adding a little height!
We were pretty excited when BHLDN reached out to us asking for a beautiful floral wall to act as a backdrop for their 2018 gown launch! Personally, we think floral walls are the only kind that should be built!
This past October we loved this wedding at the Saddle & Cycle Club with Greatest Expectations! So many beautiful and soft colors, and the loveliest and happiest sunflowers for the ceremony! We used cedar from the family's property to be included in the bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres. It could not have been sweeter!
Every year we are always so honored to be a part of the Martha Stewart Wedding Party, brought to Chicago by The Wedding Library and Lovebird Events. And each year we're thrilled to try new designs and showcase new items from our prop collection. The year was terribly exciting as we sponsored the show, adding our garden designs throughout the Ritz Carlton. It's such a fun show, filled with incredible vendors, and we are truly thrilled and humbled to a part of the day! Here are some photos from Amanda Megan Miller Photography of our work, and don't forget to take a look at Darcy's Diary for a little more! XO!
