Chicago weddings are so elegant. And weddings held at the Chicago Athletic Association are especially stunning. The history of the building and the incredible view, the architecture and lighting - everything is pretty much perfect in our eyes. We’re thrilled to share the beautiful images from Ann & Kam Photography of this beautiful day with LK Events. In the Madison Ballroom, our copper chuppah is adorned with floating orchids & the aisle is lined with over 100 candles and over 700 rose petals. The White City Ballroom has a collection of tall and low centerpieces, and candlelight galore. We loved every minute of it, and hope you do as well!
If you’re looking for inspiration that is truly out of the box, a little overgrown but still captures all the romantic, this is truly the wedding for you. Inspired by the alley entrance to Smith & Mills in Manhattan, we were happy to oblige! Held at the secret garden, Chicago Illuminating Company, coordinate by LK Events with ceremony performed by Zen Events, this wedding was a stunner. We’re so grateful Katie Kett Photography was brought on to capture all the beautiful images!
This was one of those weddings were everything was truly different, lush, lovely and basically everything. Juliana and Jake were married at the Chicago History Museum. They currently reside in Chicago, so we brought in accents of orchids & then kept it stately and classic with height and plush blooms. We also debuted the moon arch, one of our very favorite backdrops for a ceremony. It was a gorgeous day with LK Events and we want to do it all over again! These photos from Jody Savage Photography are simply the most.
