We’re thrilled to share with you this beautiful wedding, inspired by the West Coast meets the south. Soft colors, beautiful linens, peaches and an open patio. Julianne & Michael’s celebration says summer to us in all its splendor! The beautiful images are captured by Julia Franzosa Photography, the linens came from La Tavola and all the planning details were perfectly executed by Estera Events. Dining and dancing under the starts is a real treat for a Chicago wedding, and we were overjoyed for such perfect weather! The table centerpieces were lush with color and lots of greenery, offering a slightly overgrown look, and peaches were added for a little nod to a southern upbringing. Those personal touches truly made the day even more special! Enjoy this lovely wedding at the Skokie Country Club!
This morning it was snowing. Well, it was actuating ice falling from the sky. We’re all nature lovers over here and generally love all the seasons, but today we didn’t mind reminiscing about this beautiful summer wedding. Held outdoors on the roof of Morgan’s on Fulton, it’s pretty much the quintessential Chicago summer wedding! Coordination was planned by our girls, Estera Events and photos are from A Couple of Dudes Photography.
Wren’s gorgeous bouquet featured anemones, garden roses, ranunculus and other summer specializes.
We love a ranunculus boutonniere!
Give us all the flower girl hoops!!! They are one of our favorite accessories for the little ladies.
Our floral wall is the prefect backdrop for an escort wall.
We thought the rose napkin accents kept the wedding warm and sweet. Overall, we simply adore this color palette! And we loved hanging all the greenery from the cafe lights outside. This also gives a garden-like feel for the city!
This is the most perfect Chicago wedding photo!!
We love weddings that are Logan Square based, and it was such a joy working at The Joinery this past April with Estera Events, Lula Cafe Catering & Nicodem Creative! We really wish we could do this every weekend!
The bride's bouquet had just enough of an organic feel with trailing foliage, yet balanced with plush focal blooms. Peonies popped back into season just in time for this wedding!
We absolutely loved installing this hanging floral backdrop with over 250 stems of foliage & blooms!
We are totally in love with their choice of black matte dinner plates!
And of course, always love adding a little height!
OH MY GOSH, we are so IN LOVE with this wedding. It's so lovely and wonderful to see bright and beautiful oranges, yellows, bright greens and ivories in a wedding. Definitely one of our favorite color palettes that we don't often see at weddings. This wedding at the Bridgeport Art Center with Estera Events was a September dream. The colors truly remind of us creamsicles and lemonade. The photos from Megan Saul Photography are so wonderful, and we had a difficult time choosing which ones to feature! Enjoy!
We are absolutely in love with this wedding at the Bridgeport Art Center. Lush, green and ivory and filled with some of our favorite create partners, it really could not have been more perfect. The photos from Natalie Probst Photography are breathtaking. Working with Estera Events, Sarah Drake design, Art of Imagination, Bowery & Bash & Entertaining Company was basically a dream!
We simply cannot stop looking at these beautiful photos from Natalie Probst Photography. This colorful and romantic wedding at Gallery 1028 was filled with the most beautiful garden roses, so much glow and all of the texture. It was filled with perfect details, all organized by Estera Events. We're so ready to do this again!
We love an outdoor wedding reception in Chicago & we absolutely adore this colorful and fun wedding at Morgan's on Fulton. These photos from Dana Ann Photography capture all the happiness put into this wedding. This is seriously one stylish family and we were beyond excited to work with them on another wedding. And as always, we loved working with Estera Events!
We're not sure why it took so long to post these beautiful images, especially since they're from Clary Pfeiffer Photography, but better late than never! This is a truly classic wedding held at Germania Place, and Estera Events was there making sure every detail was properly taken care of. The tall gold stands on the guest tables are one of our most popular requests, and we certainly can see why. They're thin, elegant and do not obstruct any views. Paired with a candle treatment centerpieces and a lush compote, this wedding is pretty much perfect!
This wedding truly made us happy. Add giant magnolia centerpieces to black taper candlesticks. Include lush, foliage heavy centerpieces and terra cotta lanterns. Charcuterie plates from Boutique Bites and Estera Events there to coordinate it all, and you're left with the most beautiful wedding at the Arranmore Polo Club under a clear tent with 1000's of sparkling lights. Truly a Fleur favorite! Natalie Probst Photography captured everything so perfectly!!
We don't even know where to begin with these beautiful photos from Kyle John Photography! This wedding at Morgan Manufacturing could not have been more beautiful and amazing. Teamed with Estera Events, it was pure delight. The soft blue gowns and linens, the fresh floral and candles and glow. It's truly a perfect setting.
We couldn't believe it when Kina Wicks Photography sent us a sneak peek of one of our May weddings already! This clean line, beautiful wedding at Hotel Allegro is just enough classic, gorgeous and glowing & has a little hint of sparkle. Fluffy blooms paired with clean lines and fun candle holders, we loved all the details. And Estera Events came on board for some of the finishing touches and details. Overall, quite the perfect day.
OH! This is the time of year I die a little, because all of the photos of our weddings are trickling in from our wonderful photographer friends. Like this wedding with Pen Carlson Photography. I mean, it's everything we love. Romance and candles and the Museum of Contemporary Art and Estera Events and Art of Imagination. Not to mention the sweetest couple in the world.
Enjoy, and many happy years of love to Sarah & Stan!!
(PS Don't forget our new address: 2651 N Milwaukee, Chicago IL 60647)
I had to start this post with just the most beautiful cascading bouquet, captured by Olivia Leigh Weddings. This wedding, teamed with Estera Events, is such a perfect mix of a wild, overgrown garden in the center of history. Taking place at the Chicago Cultural Center, I can't stop looking at the photos. And Sarah Drake's gorgeous paper products are a wonderful, ethereal touch to the details of the day! Oh, and let's not forget the beautiful copper vessels from Refind Joy!!
Congratulations to Emily & Angelo!!
Brunch weddings are so great. Really just great. Partly being a morning person, but also because who doesn't love brunch?! Mini pancakes, french toast kabobs and champagne with orange juice (Let's be real, I always skip the OJ). This brunch wedding just about two weeks ago could not be more perfect! Inspired by Rifle Paper Co (One of our favorite lines that we carry in the boutique) Alexa & Jordan styled their gorgeous and romantic morning wedding with the sweetest details. Teamed with the stylish Estera Events, photographed by the sweet and talented Cristina G Photography, and hosted at the Four Season Hotel, well now, that's just perfection!
Congratulations to Alexa & Jordan!!!
Gilded seeded eucalyptus, garden roses, peonies, anemones, it's just so sweet.
This past October I had the wonderful opportunity to once again to visit one of my favorite placed on earth, Camp Wandawega (Check out the link for photos from our Autumn Soiree Workshop!). Kinfolk Magazine asked Estera Events to host an Art of Camp Cooking event, and Wandawega was more than happy to partner. I was thrilled to be asked to provide the floral decor, especially alongside some incredible partners including Solemn Oath Brewery, Mast Brothers Chocolate, Chef Cleetus of Fountainhead, & Julia Stotz, who took these absolutely beautiful photos that bring me right back.
Thank you to everyone for asking me to be part of this wonderful experience. If you're interested in attending any Kinfolk events you can learn more about them right HERE.
I don't even know where to begin with my excitement. This entire wedding was a dream. When Nisse first contacted us for her wedding flowers, she wanted to book without even seeing a proposal. When does that ever happen? We made an appointment to meet in person and I immediately had a girl crush on her. Such great taste, a love for Paris, a wonderful sense of humor and she is so very in love with Matt. And then it gets even better. I find out that she is working with Olivia Leigh Photography and Estera Events. That's just the beginning of a dream team of vendors, working with the most lovely couple on their wedding at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Nisse & Matt's wedding was featured in Martha Stewart Weddings online, and it is just beyond an honor to be a part of this collaboration of talent and love. Thank you so much and congratulations to Nisse and Matt! Next time you're back in Chicago I sincerely want to toast a glass of champagne with the two of you! You can see the entire Martha post right HERE!
Of course, I want to share some of Olivia's photos with you because the are so beautiful!
Below are just a few shots I grabbed on my phone.
Once again, congratulations to Nisse & Matt on your beautiful wedding day!!!
We broke away from floral for a moment, this past Sunday night, to work on some different plans. May we introduce you to Camp Wandawega.
Yes, you're seeing it correctly. That lovely little, hovering home is a treehouse.
Scared of heights? Maybe you'd rather nestle inside a teepee for the evening.
Bedrooms are available too, as long as you don't mind sharing a bathroom at the end of the hall (showers are in a different building). It's like summer camp. Or being in Europe. Whichever idea makes you feel more at ease.
This is a little bit of a rustic dreamland.
Thank you so much to my friend Hilary from Estera Events for sharing it with us!! We could not be more excited knowing about it! And if you would like to pretend you live here, stop by the Wandawega Trading Post or pick up Tereasa's book.
