Flowers have been inspiring artists and artists to be for longer than we can imagine. Examining petals and appreciating shape, our eyes are drawn to them, their color & fragrance. It's easy to become lost in their beauty. We would love to host you for an invigorating experience of falling in love all over again with blooms & blossoms at our newest class.
We are absolutely thrilled to announce a very special class from the lead designers at Fleur. Join us April 23rd for a Dutch Design class located at Workshop Chicago creating works to mimic masterpieces paintings. Learn a brief history of still life painting with a short discussion by Kelly Marie Thompson, whom studied art history before becoming a floral designer. Create your own striking statement piece with flowers both locally sourced and imported from Holland. Lush blooms will include frittilaria, frilly parrot tulips, layered ranunculus, velvety peonies and more. In addition, take home your own linen apron, pruners, Fleur notebook, & Fleur tote bag filled with goodies! This class is open to ALL experience levels, our talented team will be on hand to guide you through questions and the creative process.
This floral experience will be enhanced with delicious nosh and cocktail toasts from Boutique Bites. And photographer Kina Wicks will be on site to capture it all. We truly can't wait to design with you!
